How to set HotDocs as the default program to open files?
Changing the default program in Windows
- Take the first step by right-clicking on your file. Next, select "Open With" and then choose "Choose another app" from the available options;
- In the pop-up window, select the HotDocs application;
- Check the "Always use this app" checkbox and click "OK".
Change default apps on Mac
- Right click or Control + left click on the desired file;
- Select "Open in application" and click "Other";
- Go to the lower section of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. By default, it is set to "Recommended Programs";
- Choose "All Programs" within this menu and locate HotDocs. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to set it as the default program.
