Route 66

Insufficient updates for developer products can cause Route 66 to crash. Be sure to regularly install the latest software updates.

Restarting your computer is often an effective solution to resolve various common problems. Therefore, it is recommended to do so before making any changes to the software configuration.

Changing Default Programs in Windows

1. Take the first step by right-clicking on your file. Next, select "Open With" and then choose "Choose another app" from the available options;
2. Inside the popup window, scroll through the list of applications and specifically choose Route 66 as the application to associate with your file;
3. Check the "Always use this application" checkbox, and then click "OK" to apply the selected application as the default for opening files.

Choose an app to open a file on Mac

1. Right-click or use Control + Left-click on the desired file to open a menu where you can choose from multiple actions;
2. Select "Open in application" and click "Other";
3. Look towards the bottom of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. "Recommended programs" will be the default selection;
4. Select "All Programs" from this menu and proceed to search for Route 66. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to set it as the default option.
