How do I designate Oracle Forms as the default program to open files?

Change a default app in Windows

  1. Start the process by right-clicking on your file and selecting "Open With". From there, click "Choose another app" to continue;
  2. Find the Oracle Forms application in the pop-up window and select it as your preferred program;
  3. Select the "Always use this application" check box and click "OK" to save your selection as the default application for opening files.

Change the default app that opens a file on Mac

  1. Right click or use Control + Left Click on the desired file to access a dropdown menu of actions;
  2. Choose "Open in Application" and click "Other";
  3. Go to the lower section of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. By default, it is set to "Recommended Programs";
  4. Choose "All Programs" within this menu and locate Oracle Forms. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to set it as the default program.
