Set default programs for Windows

  1. Start by right-clicking on your file and selecting the "Open With" option. From there, click "Choose another app" to continue;
  2. From the options listed in the pop-up window, specifically choose Melody Assistant as the application to handle your file;
  3. Be sure to check the "Always use this app" checkbox and click "OK" to save your preference.

Change the default app to open files on Mac

  1. Right-click or use Control + Left-click on the desired file to access the file’s context menu;
  2. Choose "Open in Application" and click "Other";
  3. Look towards the bottom of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. "Recommended programs" will be the default selection;
  4. Select "All Programs" from this menu and proceed to search for Melody Assistant. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to set it as the default option.

Why does Melody Assistant stop responding or crash intermittently?
