What are the steps to set IZArc as the default program to open files?
Changing Default Programs in Windows
- Right-click on your file, then choose the "Open with" option and select "Choose another application" from the available options;
- From the options listed in the pop-up window, specifically choose IZArc as the application to handle your file;
- Be sure to check the "Always use this app" checkbox and click "OK" to save your preference.
Change the default app to open files on Mac
- Right-click or use Control + Left-click on the desired file to access the file’s context menu;
- Select "Open in application" and click "Other";
- Scroll down to the bottom of the window, and there you will find the "Enable" menu. The default selection is "Recommended Programs";
- Choose "All Programs" in this menu and search for IZArc. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to make it the default program.
