Solve problems with FlexiWrite

How can I make FlexiWrite the default program to open files?

Set default programs for Windows

  1. Start by right-clicking on your file and selecting the "Open With" option. From there, click "Choose another app" to continue;
  2. From the options listed in the pop-up window, specifically choose FlexiWrite as the application to handle your file;
  3. Be sure to check the "Always use this app" checkbox and click "OK" to save your preference.

Change the default app to open files on Mac

  1. Right-click or use Control + Left-click on the desired file to access the file’s context menu;
  2. Choose "Open in Application" and click "Other";
  3. Look towards the bottom of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. "Recommended programs" will be the default selection;
  4. Select "All Programs" from this menu and proceed to search for FlexiWrite. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to set it as the default option.

Why does FlexiWrite stop responding or crash intermittently?

FlexiWrite crashes can occur due to outdated software versions. To mitigate this, install the latest updates for developer products.

Restarting your computer will solve many common problems, which is why it’s the first thing you should do before changing any settings related to the software.
