What is a FEV file?

FMOD Audio Events Format, identified by the FEV extension, is a Settings Files type and includes 1190 files.

With the creation of the FMOD Audio Events Format (FEV), Firelight introduced file format along with 4 programs built for their use.

How to open a FEV file?

The most common reason why a FEV file cannot be opened is the absence of required software. To fix this, select a compatible program from the list. Then visit the official developer website via the provided link, download the program, and install it on your system.

The most popular programs for working with FEV files are FMOD U3E Integration, FMOD Designer and FMOD Ex Programmers API. To get the latest version of FMOD Designer, open the Firelight website where a universal installer for all operating systems is available.

Once setup is done, your operating system should assign FMOD Designer as the default app for FEV files.
