How to open a DWG file?

If you cannot open a DWG file, it is most often due to missing software. Select a program from the list according to your operating system. Then go to the official website of the program developer, download it, and install it on your device.

The most popular programs for working with DWG files are AutoCAD, SolidWorks and IntelliCAD. To install the current version of AutoCAD, go directly to the official Autodesk website. The universal package for all operating systems is available there.

After installation, your operating system should automatically open DWG files with AutoCAD.

1. Right click on your DWG file, then select "Open with" and click "Choose another application";
2. In the pop-up window, find and select the AutoCAD application from the available options;
