Blitz 3D

Insufficient software updates are a likely cause of Blitz 3D crashes. Be sure to install the latest updates for developer products.

A computer restart is often the key to solving numerous common problems. That’s why, it is recommended to restart the computer before making any changes to the software settings.

Changing the default program in Windows

1. Right-click on your file and choose the "Open With" option. Then click "Choose another app" to continue the process;
2. Inside the popup window, scroll through the list of applications and specifically choose Blitz 3D as the application to associate with your file;
3. Check the "Always use this application" checkbox, and then click "OK" to apply the selected application as the default for opening files.

Choose an app to open a file on Mac

1. Right-click or use Control + Left-click on the desired file to open a menu where you can choose from multiple actions;
2. Select "Open in application" and click "Other";
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the window, where you will find the "Enable" menu. Default, "Recommended Programs" will be selected;
4. In this menu, choose "All Programs" and navigate to Blitz 3D. Check the box next to "Always open in app" to make it the default program.
